Our goal is to return students to the regular classroom environment as soon as they are ready to be independent and successful learners. Given appropriate remediation in the areas of academic difficulty and adequate practice using strategies for compensation, our students do make remarkable gains in academic achievement and develop the self-esteem and self-advocacy skills that allow them to achieve success in regular classrooms. Average length of enrollment at Fletcher is two to four years, although many students stay longer due to the lack of school options with smaller class size and structured learning environments. |
