Summer Program

The Fletcher School's summer program, Make Summer Count, is designed to provide both Fletcher and non-Fletcher students with learning disabilities and attention difficulties an opportunity to maintain and improve academic skills during the summer.  Using multisensory techniques and working at their own level in a structured classroom environment, students receive additional reinforcement of newly learned skills or remediation of weaknesses.

One-on-one tutoring by Fletcher School teachers is available throughout the summer to both Fletcher and non-Fletcher students. Tutoring sessions are designed to meet the individual needs of the student in reading comprehension, written expression, math, computer keyboarding and study skills/learning strategies. Orton-Gillingham tutoring is available by tutors certified by the Orton-Gillingham Academy.
