Many people think that tuition covers the expense of running The Fletcher School, but that is far from true. Tuition covers only about 89% of the operating budget. The remainder must be funded by those who are willing and able to make a gift to The Annual Fund. To maintain our standard of excellence in education, the Annual Fund must fill the gap between tuition and the cost of a Fletcher education. Annual funds are a common method of financing used by many private schools to keep tuition as low as possible and allow students to attend who might not otherwise have the financial resources to do so. The financial goal of this year’s Annual Fund Drive is $225,000. Help us achieve our goal by making as generous a pledge as you are able. Payment of pledges to the 2011/12 Annual Fund are due by May 31, 2012. If you would like to make a stock contribution, please contact Kimberly Law at 704-365-4658, ext. 1103 or klaw@thefletcherschool.org. Only with your support can The Fletcher School continue to enable students with learning disabilities and attention deficit disorder to reach their full potential.
