August 14 - 18: K-12 New Parent Conferences

August 17: New Family Orientation - We require all new families to attend with at least one parent or guardian along with your student. 

August 18: Student Drop-Ins - Students and parents/guardians may drop in to classrooms and meet their teachers and classmates.  

August 19: K-12 First Day of School

August 19 - 21: Kindergarten Only: Early Dismissal at 12 p.m.

Physical Exam and Health History Forms are required for all new students and all sixth graders as well as annually for all student athletes.

Please review our Medication Policies. In order for medications to be administered, forms must be returned, and medications must be delivered to the Front Desk.

Medication Authorization and immunization records are required for all prescription medications and over-the-counter medication given at school, field trips, and overnight trips. 

Please note that no student may possess any medication, including over-the-counter medication such as cough drops, Tylenol, and ibuprofen. 

If your child requires emergency medication or special care, please also submit an Allergy Action Plan and Allergy History Form, Asthma Action Plan, Diabetes Action Plan, or Seizure Action Plan.

In late July, the school will send instructions for K-12 families to upload their completed forms to a new, secure student health portal.  

The Fletcher School offers a variety of summer programs that provide our students with the opportunity to develop skills and explore their interests in a safe and engaging environment. Registration for our 2026 Summer Programs has closed. However, new families are encouraged to reach out to John Nussbaumer, Assistant Head of School, at jnussbaumer@thefletcherschool.org to inquire if we still have open spots.

2026-2027 Calendar at a Glance

School begins: K-12 at 8:15 a.m.

Regular dismissal times: Grades K-5 at 3 p.m. and Grades 6-12 at 3:15 p.m.

Early dismissal times: Grades K-5 at 12 p.m. and Grades 6-12 at 12:15 p.m.

The Fletcher School offers a variety of Before and After School Activities and Athletics to enhance our students' educational experience and provide parents with support. Students must be registered in advance to participate. 

Online registration for Fall Before and After School Activities will be emailed to families in mid-July.

FACTS is the School’s parent and student portal for student information and financial accounts. When your student was enrolled in The Fletcher School, a FACTS Family Portal account was created. FACTS contains a myriad of information including resource documents, web forms, and our school directory.

Many families find FACTS useful when trying to establish carpools. If you are searching for families to carpool with, we suggest using the FACTS Family portal. Once there, click on the school tab, then the directory tab. You will see the postal code listed. Click on it, and it will reorder the postal codes in order.

Below are web forms that will need your completion/update every year and are located in your parent portal: 

Demographic Forms - Forms include Student Information Form, Student Health Form, Parent Information Form, Authorized Pick-up/Emergency Contacts, and Grandparent Information Form. It is your responsibility to keep this information current. 

Driver Sign-Up - A new form must be submitted every year in order to remain eligible to drive for school-sponsored events.

Student Parking Request and Authorization - Students in grades 10-12 only.

Upper School After Care Acknowledgement - This form gives guardians of students in grades 9-12 the option to give permission for their student to stay on campus in designated areas from 3:15-5:30 p.m.

Grades K-5: You will need to purchase a book bag/backpack for your child (rolling book bags must fit in student lockers). The School has purchased basic school supplies for each student, eliminating the need for you to shop for specific items. Supplies will be ready for students on the first day of school. Lunch boxes and water bottles are encouraged.

Grades 6-8: The School has purchased basic school supplies for each student, eliminating the need for you to shop for specific items. Supplies will be ready for students on the first day of school. In addition to the school supplies that will be distributed to your child at school, some individualized supplies may be required for students in grades 6-12. These additional supplies would be detailed in our back-to-school checklist sent in late July.

Lower School students are required to wear Fletcher t-shirts on all field trips. The t-shirts will be provided by the School at the beginning of the school year.  

Students in Grades 6-8 are expected to dress in PE uniforms consisting of a Fletcher shirt (short or long sleeves) and Fletcher athletic shorts. PE uniforms can be ordered through the links below.  

Families may order Fletcher wear from Achieve Athletics (this site will open again in August), Alphabet Soup, and Lands' End.

Pre-ordering for Grades K-3 is encouraged. Pre-orders are due by 5 p.m. on Thursdays for the following week. Follow these instructions. Lunch pre-orders are for Grades K-3 only. Students in Grades K-3 may not make substitutions to the order.

All students in Grades 4-12 should plan to order their lunch through the cafeteria line.

Weekly ENOTES - Every Thursday, our ENOTES are delivered to your email inbox beginning in August and continuing through May. This email contains everything you need to know about upcoming events and activities.

Front Desk - Emailing frontdesk@thefletcherschool.org is the best way of contacting the school and letting all pertinent personnel know of late arrival or early departure.

The Fletcher School Parents’ Council supports the School's philosophy, programs, and activities for the benefit of all students and families. Parents' Council facilitates parent communication, coordinates volunteerism, and sponsors and organizes school-wide events.

Every parent becomes a member of Parents' Council upon enrollment at The Fletcher School. Additionally, Parents’ Council conducts an annual membership drive to support activities.

We will share opportunities to volunteer with Parents' Council closer to the start of the school year.
