At The Fletcher School, College Counseling is about more than applications. It’s a comprehensive, student-centered journey that begins with self-discovery and grows into a clear, confident plan for life after high school. Our College Counseling program helps students uncover their unique strengths, explore a wide range of post-secondary options, and develop the self-advocacy and planning skills they’ll need to succeed in college and beyond.
Starting in ninth grade, our full-time College Counselor builds trusted relationships with students and families to support Fletcher’s mission as a college preparatory program. Through personalized guidance, career exploration, and real-world research, students clarify their goals and chart college-bound paths aligned with their strengths.
Fletcher’s small, supportive community gives students an edge in the college admission process. They benefit from a 4.0 grading scale, more leadership opportunities, and close connections with teachers—reflected in their resumes, activity sheets, letters of recommendation, and overall well-being.
Our College Counselor also guides students and families through the college accommodations process, helping them step into the next chapter with confidence and the tools to thrive.
