Individualized & Multisensory
Learning That Connects
With an average 6:1 student-to-teacher ratio, Fletcher's educators build strong relationships and gain a deep understanding of each student’s learning style, strengths, and areas for growth.
Our lessons are intentionally designed to incorporate visual, auditory, and kinesthetic strategies—giving students multiple pathways to connect with concepts and build lasting skills.
Instruction is paced to match each student’s progress. Our teachers continuously assess development and adapt strategies to meet each learner’s individual learning needs.
Connecting individually with our students is essential in encouraging reading and writing success. We individualize each student's lessons using the Orton-Gillingham Approach by providing multisensory instruction that includes simultaneous visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile methods. When students apply these strategies and their strengths in the classroom, they progress from supported practice to independent practice and, in the process, enhance their learning and memory.

Multisensory Learning
Multisensory learning means seeing it, saying it, and feeling it—all at the same time!
-
Tracing letters in sand while saying the sound aloud
-
Using movement to reinforce math facts—saying and seeing the fact while jumping or pointing
-
Sequencing sentences with a partner—reading aloud, discussing, and arranging sentences in a paragraph
