Before and After School & Athletics Information

Contact pstodghill@thefletcherschool.org about Before and After School Activities and rwelch@thefletcherschool.org about Athletics.

The Fletcher School offers a variety of Before and After School Activities and Athletics to enhance our students' educational experience and provide parents with support. Students must be registered in advance to participate.

Registration information for the fall season was emailed in mid-July. Online registration will run from July 19-26. The fall season runs from August 19 to October 25. A bank draft in September manages payment for all fall season Before and After School Activities. View our Fall Season Before and After School Activities & Athletics offerings and registration instructions.

This fall, Athletics will offer Middle School and Varsity Cross Country, Middle School and Varsity Co-Ed Soccer, Middle School and Varsity Volleyball, and, if needed, a Sixth Grade Junior Volleyball team. Practices will start on August 5, with the first games/races starting the week of August 19. View our Fall Season Athletics offerings and registration instructions.

Dress Code

Please visit the FACTS Family Portal, and click on Resource Documents to find the Family & Student Handbook, which covers dress code and many helpful topics.

Lower School students are required to wear Fletcher polo shirts on all field trips. Fletcher polo shirts can be ordered through the Lands’ End School, Squadlocker, or AlphabetSoup links below.

Students in Grades 6-8 who are enrolled in physical education classes are expected to dress in PE uniforms consisting of a Fletcher shirt (short or long sleeves) and Fletcher athletic shorts. PE uniforms can be ordered from the Lands’ End School, Squadlocker, or AlphabetSoup links below.

Families may order Fletcher wear from Alphabet Soup, Lands' End, and Squad Locker.

School Technology (iPads and Macbooks)

Innovative technology use is an integral part of our program at The Fletcher School. To learn more about our educational technology program and expectations, new students and their families (at least one parent or guardian) are required to participate in a Digital Dive. Fletcher's Director of Educational Technology will lead the Digital Dive for Grades K-12 during New Family Orientation on Wednesday, August 14.

Grades K - 5 - Students will receive their devices from their teacher during the first days of school.

Grade 6- 12 - New students will receive their MacBooks during New Student Orientation on Wednesday, August 14.

Lunch and Pre-Ordering

Links to the month's lunch menu may be found at the bottom of each ENOTES, The Fletcher School's weekly newsletter, in the Helfpul Links section.

Pre-ordering is encouraged. Pre-orders are due by 5 pm on Thursdays for the following week. Follow these instructions.

Parents' Council Volunteer Opportunities

Getting involved with Parents' Council is a great way to connect to The Fletcher School! You can meet other families, support fun and engaging activities for students and their families, as well as get to know school personnel.

Join: Become a member of Parents' Council for 2024-2025 by completing the Membership Form. Your financial contribution of $60 helps to offset programing costs for many of the activities that Parents' Council hosts for students and their families.

Volunteer: It takes many hands to host over 20 events each year! Please consider volunteering your time and/or talents to one or more of Parents' Council hosted events. Complete the Volunteer Form to indicate your interests for 2024-2025.

We will share additional ways to support Parents’ Council when the school year draws closer.

FACTS Family and Student Portal

FACTS is the School’s parent and student portal for student information and financial accounts. When your student was enrolled in The Fletcher School, a FACTS Family Portal account was created. FACTS contains a myriad of information including resource documents, web forms, and our school directory. Many families find FACTS useful when trying to establish carpools.  If you are searching for families to carpool with, we suggest using the FACTS Family portal. Once there, click on the school tab, then the directory tab. You will see the postal code listed. Click on it, and it will reorder the postal codes in order.

Below are web forms that will need your completion/update every year and are located in your parent portal:

Demographic Forms - Forms include Student Information, Parent/Guardian Information, Student Health Information, Emergency Contacts, Authorized Pick-Up, and Grandparent Information.  It is your responsibility to keep this information current.

Student Parking Request and Authorization - Students in grades 10-12 only

Volunteer Driver MVR Authorization - A new form must be submitted every year in order to remain eligible to drive for school-sponsored events
